C&L - a "Big 6" accountancy and consulting practice

Description:
This project concerned the definition of Coopers & Lybrand's global BPO strategy. It included defining core service offerings, undertaking market and competitor analyses, developing business cases, financial analyses and market entry strategies for each service offering and assesssing any regualtory hurdles for C&L as a major global accounting firm. Key services included back-office finance function, HR, tax compliance and internal audit.

Outcome:
The strategy was presented to C&L's global management consultancy board, ratified and rolled out globally. The strategy lead to some very significant business for C&L in the BPO arena - including the outsourcing of the BBC's finance function to C&L.
